Tips For Hiring A Paving Contractor

• Word of Mouth: Ask your friends a family. A referral is the best kind or recommendation. Someone knows just what you can expect. Ask them what they liked and disliked about their paving contractor services. How was their customer service? Were they friendly and authentic? What the project completed in a timely manner? Was it even completed on schedule? Where there any unexpected fees or costs involved in the project?

• Check Credentials: Is your contractor licensed? This is a must! Look for memberships to paving associations, remodeling industries or other groups. Be wary and interview the contractor and ask for specifics. This should include information on materials, code requirements and design concepts. A contractor should be able to explain this to you fully.

• Request before and after pictures: How else will you tell if their work is all they say it is. Would you want similar paving results? The proof is in the pudding...Ask for a paving portfolio :)

• Obtain multiple quotes: They are small paving businesses and large ones too. There are high end paving service companies and discount ones too. Remember though, if the price of your project is too low they may be cutting corners or use poor quality materials.
